There is something special about harvest season. After months spent pruning, weeding, leaf-thinning, and protecting the vines and grapes, the time finally comes to harvest the fruit of all that work. Quite literally. At the vineyard, harvest marks a change of pace. Field activities gradually slow down while the winery comes to life. Bins fill up, grapes leave the vineyard blocks, and a new stage begins. But before cutting that first bunch of grapes, you need to know when to harvest.

Pinot Noir is one of the world's most admired grape varieties. Renowned for its elegance, delicate aromas, and remarkable ability to express its terroir, it produces refined red wines that appeal to wine lovers and sommeliers alike. Originally from Burgundy, France, this noble grape is now grown in cool-climate wine regions around the world, including Quebec. At our vineyard, Pinot Noir has held a special place since the very beginning and has consistently demonstrated its remarkable potential.

A glass of wine, a grimace around the table… then the verdict lands: “This one is flawed.” And yet, in the world of wine, the line between a flaw… and personality is rarely that clear. A wine can display surprising aromas without being faulty. On the other hand, some characteristics that seem like complexity may actually point to a technical issue. More subtly still: the very same aroma can be perfectly normal in one grape variety… and considered a flaw in another.
